The journey back
from Telford
yesterday was
awful, rain was
coming down in
bucket-loads!
By evening we had a
beautiful blue sky!
I was determined
I was not going to
bring any of my swaps
back home from
Telford like I
did when I went to
Orlando earlier this
year when I'd spent
more time yakking
than swapping!
For Telford I made
72 bleached lobster
swaps because
I wasn't sure if
anyone would be
interested in my
50-60 butterfly
"left-overs"!
I needn't have
worried - ALL my
swaps went.
The really exciting
part about it is that
it means I have come
home with between
120 - 130 swaps!
When I get myself
organised I'll share
them with you.
Another big
highlight of Stampin'
Up! events is the
opportunity to meet
up with other
demonstrators, making
new friends and
sharing ideas.
During the day,
everyone was given
a calculator with
the Stampin' Up!
logo - it's super.
I was in the first group to win the Prize Patrol and I won the Over
the Rainbow stamp
This is how my flower travelled home in total safety! |
twine. YAY!
Later in the day, lots
of demos were
presented with a
flower in recognition
of their own particular
achievement. I
was given one
in recognition of
my promotion last
month.
We had a two hour
break at lunch time
which gave us time
to look at the display
boards and to play
with some of the
new products.
We were also provided with a very nice hot lunch.
As always, it was great event and I'm so pleased I went. The next big Stampin' Up! event will be Convention in Brussels in November.............yes, barring any unforeseen problems, I'll be there!
Until tomorrow, happy crafting.
JanB.
