Blue Bird on Hexagon Hive Trellis Video

Hello Crafters.
I'm have just posted my Blue Bird video. The card was inspired by a swap I received at the SU Leadership Convention I attended in Orlando.
My original plan was to have three branches but decided it looked a bit bare! So I added more and stopped at seven but then I wondered if I had overdone it!

I have posted photogaphs of three cards, one with three branches, one with five and one with 7. Which one do you think is best? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

This is the link for the video: Blue Bird on Hexagon Hive Trellis

Until tomorrow, happy crafting.

JanB.

  1. Hi, Jan, all the cards are beautiful! I love the card with the 5 flowers the most I think, but I love the card with the 7 flowers too.

  3. FYI If you wrap your warped plate in foil, place on a cookie sheet with a heavy weight on top - I use a stoneware pot or cast iron skillet - bake in preheated 300 oven for 20 min. Let cool completely before removing weight & unwrapping. Voila, a flatter plate.
I like the card with the 7 flowers

  4. Thanks for that, Karen. I had heard that this could be done with warped plates but not how! Also appreciate your feedback about the amount of flowers on my card. JanB

  5. I like the five branches with flowers. Three looks a little bare and I think the seven is a tad much - but five looks just right!

  6. Thanks, Carolyn. I definitely agree about three branches and I probably agree about five but I still like the seven! I don't think I have ever been so indecisive about a card before! JanB.
