Hello, Crafters.
I hope you're all
enjoying your weekend.
We went for a lovely
walk after we had
dinner, chatting with
friends and neighbours
on our way.
My day in my studio
has been spent on the
first card for next
week's workshop. It
took me several
attempts at the card
I had in mind and I'm
still undecided about
which I think is the best
version.
I started with the
Smokey Slate Ship
but decided the
image was too large.
I went down a size
and made the
Smokey Slate Train.
I then decided to try a
different colour and
was really pleased
with the sepia effect
I achieved with
Crumb Cake, so I
did one Ship and
one Train. The
next one I did was
the Train with the
dark colour at the
top - I quite like
this one.
I then wondered what
it would look like if
I did the background
stamp the other way
up i.e. curving upwards!
I didn't like them
because they looked
upside down! I didn't
make cards with
them but I had intended
to photograph the
images for you to see
- maybe I'll do that
tomorrow!
Finally, I decided to
make one in a colour
and chose Lost Lagoon.
I've posted all the
cards I made here
- which do you think
looks best?
Your feedback really
will be appreciated.
Until tomorrow, happy
crafting.
JanB.
