This is not a mistake!

Today I have made two personalised birthday cards for one of my customers and started on a baptism card for another customer. I'll post the photographs once the occasions have been celebrated.

I have also been working on one of the cards for my workshops on 31st May 2014. The technique is called faux silk. It's created by stamping on tissue paper, screwing it up, unravelling it and smoothing it out. Then it is adhered to card stock continuing to smooth it out as you work. The resulting "crinkles" make it look like silk. Making the card has been a real pleasure - I've made five so far. My problem has been trying to photograph them without them looking as if I have messed up! I persevered and have succeeded - what do you think?

I have posted this photograph as extra-large to emphasise the crinkles that give the background the faux silk look.
