First Photopolymer Card

It's been a busy day today but I did manage to spend a couple of hours in my studio. My conclusion about the new photopolymer stamps is ........I love them! It is so easy to create all sorts of patterns because you can see through the stamps and therefore see where you ar stamping! No need to use a stamp-a-ma-jig with these!

The image below on the white circle was created by using a zig-zag stamp and stamping one layer on top of another layer. As you can see, when I stamped the second layer, I just missed joining up with the top layer....all part of the learning curve! I copied this idea onto a Island Indigo (blue) circle and used on my finished card. The blue circle below was also created by stamping one stamp multiple times. Although I like the effect, and will use it some time in the future, it wasn't suitable for today's card.
Test circles using one stamp multiple times.

This is the finished card. I have used the name Leigh as that is my son and it is his birthday at the end of May.

The letters for the name are those I posted here yesterday. I punched them out with the small jewellery tag punch.

This is a close up showing the stamped image on the birthday greeting banner. I used the cut out Post-it masks to stamp the arrows on the banner.

Yes, I definitely love these new stamps............let's have lots more please Stampin' Up!
