Faux Silk Technique

Three weeks ago, when I was planning the projects for today's workshops, I decided that I wanted to do faux silk for one of the techniques. I made five cards altogether but wasn't 100% happy with any of them!

Last week I saw someone demonstrating the technique and she achieved the look I had been trying for. This spurred me on to have another try. Boy, am I pleased I did! The result was exactly what I had hoped for.

These are the photographs of the two cards I made today.They are very tactile - the "silk" feels so soft.
